About the teacher

Nadia Piechestein is a London based sustainable Fashion Designer reimagining traditional mending to create contemporary fine fashion that challenges longevity and creativity.

Her brand, TLZ Movement Clothes, was one of the first ethical brands in Argentina, were she is from. Her sustainable approach combines slow fashion techniques with zero-stock and zero-waste production. The last collection brings together the most exquisite embroidery combined with weavings in collaboration with local makers. The iron-on patches are an other amazing invention on a mission to stop clothes from waste. Just with an iron you can incorporate the most beautiful textiles in any shape you want. Made with Khadi cotton, handmade weaved in collaboration with Khadi London CIC.

Her work has been exhibited at London Fashion Week 2022, The Lab E20 and Fashion District Hub during the prelaunch of The Reclaimery platform. Also every year during The Festival of Natural Fibers and London Craft Week.

Reworking services, workshops and products are available all year long.
